Hello! Welcome to Sonder Sage hair studio, I’m CJ (or Chelsie,) you may wonder why I chose Sonder Sage as the name for my business. The definition of Sonder is “The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” This resonates so strongly with my passion to treat everyone with genuine care and kindness, especially those who sit in my chair. “Sage” simply pays homage to my Nevada home, it is a reference to the state plant-sagebrush. My goal as a cosmetologist has always been to create a safe and peaceful environment for my clients to be themselves and know they are well cared for. I offer a broad spectrum of services and specialize in all color services (specifically blonding and balayage) as well as wedding preparation. I will always appreciate the honor it is to get someone ready for such a special life event. I love to provide a calm and gentle approach when working behind the chair. If you have a tender head, or you get anxious in new situations I am your stylist! I do my very best to invest in product that is non toxic, cruelty free, vegan and derived from organic ingredients. I will always strive to offer the cleanest beauty solutions to my clients. When I’m away from the studio you will likely find me out with my horse, spending time at home watching movies or cooking with my husband, cuddling/napping with one or more of my other 4 pets or running around trying to rescue a stray animal.
