Welcome to Golden Hour Hair Company, I’m Mackenzie!
I worked at a top salon in Cincinnati for the last 8 years where I created lasting relationships with clients, trained future hairdressers, and worked along side nationally known product companies. I decided to take the leap and start my own company. I believe strongly in creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Golden Hour Hair Co. was built upon the belief that guests should leave feeling their best and most confident self. I promise to bring the top products, techniques, and education to my guests. I have extensive experience in dry cutting, razor cutting, blonding, and extensions. But no matter the color or cut, I would love to have you in my chair!

I am so glad I found Mackenzie!! For eight years I had super long dreadlocks that I recently cut off. It was a huge change and I felt super uncomfortable with my short hair. I made an appointment to talk about my "hair history" and to discuss dye options. Mackenzie put a deep conditioning mask on my hair and suggested some products to help repair the damage from the locs. She tested a strand of my hair and recommended I wait four weeks to dye. This was EXCELLENT advice. After just a month of using the products she recommended, my hair grew almost twice as long and feels a lot healthier. We dyed half of my hair blonde and I'm absolutely in love. I feel confident and ready to rock my new look. I am so grateful for all of her help and strongly recommend her expertise.

This was my first visit to Mackenzie and I could not be more pleased with how she did my color. I am dark haired with gray roots and then dark (dyed) hair that also had brassiness from at home coloring. She not only blended my white/gray (did not cover, just blended making the growth less harsh looking) but she used a product to get rid of that reddish orange tint. I am thrilled with the final look.
