Haven and Honey Salon

Haven + Honey Salon is run by myself, Taylor Haven Lawson, and created to inspire creativity and individuality in all people. This is first and foremost a safe space for anyone and was created with the intention that gender knows no bounds. I serve creative cuts and color to people who seek to be bold and honor being different. 

My career started in 2013 when I graduated from Empire Cosmetology School and I have worked in many different salon environments where I could specialize in blonding and creative color as well as haircuts for all genders. When I was younger the industry wasn't ready to grow for unnatural hair coloring and bold hair cutting techniques and that was when I formed my passion of hair. I started to cut and color my own hair, which turned into coloring friend's hair in the basement which eventually led me to Cosmetology school. 

Since Cosmetology school I have worked in a few different salon environments, corporate and otherwise, but Haven + Honey is a place where I can feel inspired every day by the weird and wonderful! When it comes to hair, expression has no bounds. Haven + Honey is about making bold hair choices, keeping an emphasis on hair health and maintaining good habits to reach your ultimate hair goals. 

Things to consider prior to your appointment:

Feeling confident about your hair is of upmost importance to me, but also considering the integrity and history of your hair will help me help you to achieve your goals! Prior to your color appointment, please send an e-mail via taylor.lawson@salonlofts.com with a photo of your hair currently, any photos you may have of what you'd like to achieve at your appointment and a 1-2 year hair history including any coloring or chemical services done to your hair so we can assess what the best options are for you!
